“A work that does without bar lines, demands microtonality in places, and gives freedom to (limited) improvisation – not to say compulsion to interpretation. But, it is about ‘acoustic spirals’, always different, plus tremolo, arpeggios and timbres, extremely spirited and indeed quite weird. You can enjoy that here in any case, and if there were not the high technical requirements, one should actually recommend the spirals to all nylon guitarists, so that they do not always play Carulli.
